Our students have spent some time exploring various careers. In this session students will learn more about careers in Cosmetology and the options for training and education to reach their goals. Students will have also heard from a keynote speaker regarding positive habits, soft skills, and interpersonal skills needed in today's workforce. Please feel free to include the type of person who should consider a career in Cosmetology and if there is anything these young students can be doing at the ages of 11-14 to align them with any future aspirations they may have in this career. It should also include fun facts!!

We have a large number of students who are interested in cosmetology, specifically a hair dresser or nail technician! We would really like someone who can show us what tools they use and how their day looks. It would be especially helpful to connect the things students are learning in elementary school (math, science, etc.) with this career field.
